DescriptionDewberry is seeking a Structural Building Design Engineer, for their New Haven Office in Connecticut, with a minimum 10 years of experience in designing commercial and institutional building structure projects. Technical excellence in building structure design (High rise is a plus). The selected person will be responsible for preparation of contract documents, review of shop drawings and providing technical support. The candidate must possess a BS in Civil Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferable), PE license and good communication skills. Proficiency in Microstation is desirable but not necessary. The candidate will be expected to support marketing and business development efforts as needed.Required SkillsBachelors Degree,Building,Business Development,Civil Engineer (Senior),Design,PE License,Structural Engineer (Senior)Required ExperienceTo qualify, the candidate must have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering; 10-15 years of building structures design experience, project management experience, marketing and business development capabilities, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
