We have an immediate position open for a Mid Level Bridge Hydraulics Engineer  with PennDOT experience to work in the Southern York County, PA area.  This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and advancement with a thriving engineering firm. Job Details:

• Must possess a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

• 4+ years of experience with bridge and highway related projects.

• Professional Engineer License preferred (PA preferred).

• Experience with PennDOT projects is a must.

• Will be responsible for hydraulic and hydrologic design and analysis for all types of bridge projects.

• Duties could include:  deck drainage design, erosion control plans, hydraulic and hydrologic design and modeling for bridges, culverts & highways, hydrologic studies, storm water management and scour analysis.

• In addition to design assignments, the candidate will be expected to assist with bridge inspection.

• Will also have some QA/QC responsibilities for design and analysis.

• Operational knowledge of Microstation and AutoCAD desired.  Knowledge of HEC-RAS, HEC-2, HY-8 a plus.

• Must have excellent written and communication skills.
