Simon Wong Engineering has immediate openings for Bridge Construction Engineers with varied levels of experience.

 

Qualifications include: E.I.T or P.E.Caltrans experience a plusExcellent communication skills, both oral and written Excellent organization and problem solving skills Professional approach at developing strong client relations

Responsibilities / Experience of the candidate include:  Administration of construction projectsPreparation of daily and weekly reports and diariesProficient at reading and interpreting plans & specificationsOversee daily inspection effortsUtilize 4 scale drawings to develop/check gradesPerform field inspections of contractor operations to ensure compliance of contract documentsManagement of support staffReview shop drawings such as falsework, shoring, and prestressed concreteMonitor and inspect prestressing operationsProfilograph bridge decksVerify and establish critical bridge gradesMonitor construction of various foundation typesMaintain good community relations/ public awareness
