Automation / Controls Engineer - Engineering Firm

  ***CAREER OPPORTUNITY!! -SYSTEMS INTEGRATION & ENGINEERING FIRM*** ***AUTOMATION CONTROLS ENGINEER - LOCATED IN RACINE, WI*** RESPONSIBILITIES:* Provide electrical process controls engineering and data integration services to the food, dairy, beverage, and consumer products manufacturing industries including developing project scope, planning, procuring, and managing engineering projects. * Engage in start-ups, including design and conceptual layouts, etc. of manufacturing production lines and processes.* Manage engineering projects from conception to completion. * Provide a wide variety of engineering and data integration services....From project specification through design, implementation, training and support.* Reports to Corporate Engineering Manager.* Travel 25%.QUALIFICATIONS:* BS in Electrical Engineering preferred; however; relevant education plus experience will also be considered.* 4 -7 years experience working in an engineering firm as a technical representative specializing in software controls (PLC's) and data integration....OR....in a manufacturing environment working in a similar capacity.* Experience with initial plans, design, conceptual layouts, etc. relative to new start-ups of production and process manufacturing facilities and equipment. * FOOD, BEVERAGE, DAIRY, or CONSUMER PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE HIGHLY PREFERRED....but will consider all manufacturing backgrounds. * Thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic and process control systems, circuit design, power calculations, open interface, software controls, etc. * Experience and demonstrable expertise with programmable Allen / Bradley controllers (PLC's)....Particularly PLC 5, SLC 500...up to and including PLC 5000* RS View also desired....wonderware a plus. * Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as, interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse group of people at all level of the organization. * Posses professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation with the capacity to travel 25%.COMPENSATION:Competitive Compensation Package - DOE + Full Benefits + Retirement Plan Please Email Resume Directly To:  TheSearchers2000@msn.com ***LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED******CAREER OPPORTUNITY!!*** MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
