Associate Project Manager/Field Technician
The Most Important Environmental Company You’ve Never Heard Of.
We Offer Careers, Not Jobs.
ECC is one of the most important environmental science companies you’ve never heard of.
For 17 years we have quietly operated at the crossroads of the financial and environmental service industries, actively overseeing or directly undertaking hundreds of environmental investigations, assessments and remediations each year and growing. That’s right….17 years of consistent
annual growth.
ECC provides environmental management and remediation services to the nation’s large financial institutions. With offices coast to coast and in the midwest, the firm’s active portfolio typically includes over environmental projects everywhere in the nation. Our services include:
• Site Investigation
• Remediation Oversight
• Causation Analyses
• Reserve Estimating
• Subrogation
• Complex Site Remediation
• Liability Analyses
• Loss and Expense Allocation
• Litigation Defense Support
• Economic Audit Analyses
ECC's multi-disciplinary staff is composed of engineers, geologists, environmental scientists,
and other experts with broad experience in managing complex contaminations. Since our inception,
ECC has assisted its clients in resolving approximately 7,000 environmental cases involving
surface and subsurface contamination, indoor air pollution as well as litigation support.
ECC fosters a collegial, supportive environment where every employee is encouraged to both assist and seek assistance from others throughout the firm. As a result, our professional culture is internally relaxed and noncompetitive while continually striving to provide unequalled excellence in service to our clients.
In summary, we encourage a cohesive, considerate community of creative thinkers.
Since our professional practice and discipline is unique, we emphasize training and mentoring to enrich each employee’s value in our team-based process. In addition, the firm’s active tuition reimbursement program supports our colleagues as they pursue advanced degrees, certifications and licenses. And through ECC’s bonus program, our employees are consistently rewarded for innovative thinking and dedication to meeting our large clients’ special needs.
We are in need of an Associate Project Manager as well as a Field Technician in our Toms River office.
ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGERS
Associate Project Managers must have 3 to 7 years direct experience in either site investigation or remediation, and have an undergraduate degree in environmental engineering, geology or environmental science. An advanced degree in these areas is desirable. Associates participate in the full range of project responsibilities including client contact, establishing budgets, approving costs, devising and implementing investigation/remediation strategies as well as supervising contractor personnel. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Associates are encouraged to progress toward full Manager status over time. This position is for skilled professionals interested in long-term career advancement.
FIELD TECHNICIANS
Field Technicians should have an undergraduate degree in geology, environmental engineering, environmental science or a related area. Good oral communication skills are required.
ECC offers an excellent compensation package including competitive salary, bonus program, participating pension plan, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, vacation, reimbursement for continuing education, professional licensing, and more.
This is a rare opportunity for motivated people interested in long-term career advancement. Excellent compensation package includes competitive salary, bonuses, licensing/certification reimbursement, participating 401K, medical, dental, life insurance, vacation and liberal tuition reimbursement.
