Assistant Athletic Director
ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR/SENIOR WOMEN'S ADMINISTRATOR, Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER)-Administration, to directly supervise and manage a number of varsity intercollegiate programs as well as designated auxiliary service areas in the department. Will also oversee and coordinate intercollegiate practice and competitive scheduling, and manage/supervise the hosting of varsity special events (conference championships or NCAA championship contests). This is a twelve-month senior leadership/management position.
REQUIREMENTS: a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and three to five years' progressive administrative experience, preferably at the collegiate level. Seek highly motivated individual who is able to work both independently and collaboratively. Should possess strong organizational and written and oral communication skills. Must be able to supervise and lead in a team-oriented environment. MIT-00005684-R Application deadline is August 13, 2008.
