Area Sales Manager Call (513)791-2600Description: Responsible for selling company products through manufacturer representatives, distributors and through limited direct sales calls. Manages and directs a manufacturer representative sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a district. Represents the company in all activities associated with representative/channel sales support. May be called upon to perform other duties. A high degree of creativity and self directed ability is required. Travel is approximately 20% or less. The position is located in Dayton, OH. Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Requirements: Qualified candidates need to have the following for consideration.Knowledge:Sales concepts such as sales funnel, prospecting, overcoming objections, closing and basic financial analysis. Good PC proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office(Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Bachelor's degree in marketing or mechanical engineering preferred. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.Skills/Experience:Excellent sales skills demonstrated by sales growth and performance against plan(budget). Effective critical thinking skills for effective analysis and problem solving.
