JOB DESCRIPTION

Management responsibility for staff, and planning, programming and formulation of building design, and preparation of design presentation and construction contract documents.
Key responsibility for business development efforts.

-Management responsibility for staff, and planning, programming and formulation of building design,
and preparation of design presentation and construction contract documents.

-Management responsibility for coordination of building design formulation and development of
construction contract documents with architectural and engineering staff.

-Management responsibility for development of design criteria directly with clients.

-Manage preparation of presentation materials and make presentations.

-Management responsibility in establishing applicable planning, zoning, and building codes and regulations. Meet with agencies
having jurisdiction.

-Management responsibility in determination of construction materials, technologies and methodologies. Manage services during
construction.

-Management responsibility for development of project budgets and schedules, both internal and external.

-Key responsibility for business development efforts, and client maintenance.

-Participate in professional societies and committees.

-Manage and mentor staff. Assist with hiring and staff evaluations.

-Remain current with industry standards, technical and design applications.

-Manage and maintain production standards and quality assurance verification.

-Assist with development and maintenance of discipline standards.

Job entails specific project responsibilities requiring personal involvement in work design and produuction.

Minimal project related travel required.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

 Professional degree in Architecture from a program accredited by the National Architectural
Accreditation Board (NAAB), minimum Bachelor of Architecture
5 year degree) or Master of Architecture.

 Professional registration required. Continuing Education Units (CEU) compliance.
National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certification eligible.
 LEED AP required

Experience:
 12 years experience, 8 years minimum as Registered Architect
 Proven technical knowledge and design application.
 Proven performance in leadership role.
 Fluency with basic business office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
 Appropriate writing and interpersonal skills.
