Applications Programmer

A manufacturing company in West Tennessee is seeking an Applications Developer Analyst to work with factory and administrative business units to develop, implement, maintain and modify applications programs. The successful candidate will analyze a wide variety of Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Quality and Supply Chain projects and processes for the purpose of formulating, defining or coding the solution to approved projects. The Applications Developer Analyst will evaluate purchase vs. develop alternatives when providing solutions to the approved projects. Work with the North America Regional Applications team to leverage existing technology and applications, resources and solutions when working with approved IS projects. Maintain and troubleshoot legacy systems. Evaluate the need to upgrade or replace obsolete applications and systems.- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines- 3-5 years hands-on experience with object-oriented programming developing applications with strong exposure to manufacturing systems and environments- Hands on experience developing applications in C++, C Sharp, Visual Basic, .NET or Object Oriented Programming.
