Application Specialist

The ANH Refractories Family of Companies has a long history of manufacturing, marketing and distributing high quality, refractory (high-temperature furnace brick) products to a variety of industries. These industries include steel, cement and lime, glass, environmental technology, energy, non-ferrous metals and chemical.

 

ANH Refractories Family of Companies currently operates 17 manufacturing facilities and 26 distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada. Annual revenues are approximately $400 million, making the company one of the top competitors in the industry.

 

This position would be located in the midwest region of the U.S.

 

Job Requirements:

 

· B.S. Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field

· 3-8 years of project experience in refractory or refractory consuming markets related to chemical, incineration, ceramic, or power generation applications.

· Knowledge of product lines, product characteristics, construction, installation, customer applications, estimating, quality control, manufacturing and sales skills.

· Proficient in MS Office applications

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Provide technical support for customers and sales

· Propose, alters or refines lignin designs and installation methods.

· Create product application concepts

· Define and support R&D development.

· Assist in price positioning of products in the marketplace.

· Create product promotions and marketing strategies.

· Perform market/product portfolio analysis
