About the Opportunity
Crown Solutions is currently seeking an Application Engineer for a position located at our headquarters in Vandalia, OH.  The Engineered Solutions Group (ESG) Application Engineer will be involved in working with ESG team members in quoting/costing Industrial Water Treatment project equipment sales opportunities.  Duties would include, but are not limited to:

·  Review Request for Quotes (RFQ) and develop cost estimates to meet the RFQ requirements.

·  Work with the ESG sales team leader to compile the quote/proposal.

·  Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) to be sent with the quote or to be used for cost estimating.

·  Develop PFD's to be sent with the quote or used for cost estimating.

·  Develop template P&ID's to be used for sales, estimating and project hand-off.

·  Develop cost estimate templates and a parts database to increase quoting efficiency.

·  Participate in training activities for Crown Solutions Associates to improve their familiarity and capabilities in equipment applications.

·  Develop the sales order "hand-off" package.  This package will include, at a minimum, the final quote/proposal, final job cost estimates, phase/task details, detailed PFD, detailed P&ID, reference drawings, sequence of operations description and vendor quotes.

·  Conduct the kickoff meeting for all new sales orders by reviewing the “hand-offâ€� packages with the production team.

·  Work with production/purchasing to develop budget versus actual cost variation report, and use this information to update the cost estimate templates.

·  Experience in validation preferred.
