Application Engineer - Asic or FPGA

Location: San Diego or San JoseSalary: DOE (Depends on experience)Occupation Type: EngineeringPosition Type: Permanent(Direct-Hire)Job Description: Full-Time Direct-Hire Opportunity. Enable customers to use and deploy ASIC platform in post sales situations. Provide technical support to customers including technical problem resolution and training. Travel is limited to North America (10 - 15%). Minimum 5 yrs. ASIC or FPGA Design experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in a lead position, giving guidance to other engineers. Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently. Prioritize issues and tasks. Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly changing environment. Technical writing experience is a plus. Candidate may choose to work in San Diego or San Jose, CA location.
