Antenna Reflector Design Engineering Specialist
We have an immediate career opportunity for an Antenna Reflector Design Engineering Specialist in our Antenna Subsystem Reflector Design group. This is a challenging role in which you will have the opportunity to display your analytical ability and demonstrate your design skills while you work with some of the most advanced projects in the satellite industry. Your key role will be to design spacecraft antennas to support new and existing spacecraft programs. The essential functions of the Job are the following: 1. Design and analyze reflector antennas and array antennas to support spacecraft programs and proposal efforts using Ticra software (GRASP, POS) 2. Perform technical reviews of antenna designs and provide technical analysis 3. Provide technical support to junior engineers 4. Support Near Field Range measurement activities 5. Develop antenna design and utility software (Fortran, C, Matlab) 6. Carry out IR&D projects to develop new antenna concepts and designs Minimum Requirements: B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering plus eight years related experience, or six years with MSEE. A good analytical background in EM theory and spacecraft experience is preferred, including hardware measurement experience in the areas of antennas and RF components. Computer programming skills in FORTRAN, C or Matlab. MSEE preferred.
