Air Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities
· We have an immediate need for an Air Quality Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh.
· Engineer with experience in performing industrial environmental projects covering air emissions and regulatory compliance.
· Prepare construction and operating permit applications, including Title V, non-attainment New Source Review, and Prevention of Significant Deterioration.
· Prepare air emissions inventories for state emissions reporting.
· Prepare annual and semiannual Title V compliance reports and compliance certifications - Conduct applicability reviews with respect to Federal, State, and local air quality regulations (including New Source Performance Standards, National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants, Reasonably Available Control Technology)
· Perform facility compliance assessments, document compliance, and suggest corrective actions - Conduct air dispersion modeling studies.
· Negotiate air permit conditions with regulators.
· Implement recordkeeping systems and other compliance initiatives. Develop and/or maintain electronic data management systems to track facility compliance and facilitate reporting.
· Will occasionally travel out of town to client’s sites (10 - 25% travel).
Basic/Required Qualifications
· BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or related science degree.
· 8 - 10+ years of experience helping industrial and/or governmental facilities in multiple states maintain compliance with Clean Air Act regulations.
· Project experience to include Title V Permitting, FESOP Permitting, Emissions Inventory and Regulatory Review.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.
· Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
