Acquisition Logistics Analyst

Bachelor degree in logistics or a related field required. Extensive experience in operational and acquisition logistics may substitute for bachelor's degree. At least 3 years supporting government acquisition program management teams is desired. DAWIA level I certification or equivalent in logistics required. Recent experience with USMC acquisition logistics document development required. Excellent communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel. Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Current clearance is desired. Job Description : EG&G is seeking an Acquisition Logistics Analyst to provide and coordinate program acquisition, configuration management and logistics management, and provide planning and coordination support to the PM Engineer Systems Mobility/Counter-Mobility team logistics manager. Duties will include planning and executing acquisition program logistics for fielded and developmental engineering system equipment, sparing analyses, management of provisioning efforts, providing direct logistics support as required, and implementing logistics plans. Will plan and assist in efforts such as logistics analyses and trade studies; development of Integrated Logistics Support Plans, development of provisioning and training plans; development of technical manuals, and other tasks related to logistics support. Support activities and tasks in various logistics elements (ILS planning, maintenance planning, supply support, test and support equipment, packaging/ handling/ storage /transportation, personnel and training, facilities, data, computer resources, design interface) and support analyses, studies, problem identification and resolution, program planning and implementation.
