Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk

About our Company

 

We are a growing and energetic architectural/engineering firm located in lower Westchester. All projects are based in the five boroughs of New York City.  We work with many well know architects, engineers and designers as well as home owners. 

 

We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi task.  This individual must have the capability to work independently.

 

Prior accounting experience is a must.

 

Applicant should be proficient in Quick books and Microsoft Excel with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.  Access knowledge a plus!

 

 

Job Description:

 

Billing   Preparation and distribution of all billing           

Accounts Receivable   Maintain and update weekly reports in Excel    

Collections   Contacting clients, sending statements

Cash Receipts   Prepare and print checks for payment

Expenses   Monthly Credit card verification and Employee expense reports

Benefits include medical insurance (70/30 split), ‘401 K’ retirement plan,

2 weeks vacation and company paid holidays. 

Salary will be driven by experience.
