Accounts Payable / Payroll Coordinator

High school degree or equivalent training/experience and 5 years of accounting experience. Requires good oral and written communication skills, working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications, organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Job Description : The Accounting Clerk III will perform general accounting functions in support of EG&G's business office located in Morgantown, WV. Edit, check and verify data received for completeness and accuracy. Prepare source documents for data entry, code accounts appropriately and perform data entry function. Interface with vendors for problems resolution, organize, maintain and file records, as well as, answer phones. Compile and maintain payroll data records. Assist in processing Deltek electronic time collection. Analyze the data that is received, research the information and resolve any discrepancies as a result of the reconciliation. Verify the proper distribution of charges to specific accounts and contracts and assist in processing payroll and labor adjustments. Perform all required clerical duties as necessary in area of assignment. Assist in other business office areas as may be required. : : EOE M/F/D/V
