Accounts Payable Assistant, Accounting/Finance (2319)

Exponent is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance/Accounting Group in our Phoenix, AZ office.

Key responsibilities will include:
Processing a high volume of invoices and expense reports Matching invoices to purchase orders and receivers Working with vendors to reconcile accounts Ensuring proper invoice approvals are in place Maintaining vendor files for current year and archiving prior year files Following up to resolve issues on invoices and purchase orders Providing responsive support to all employees and vendors Interacting with employees regarding policies and procedures This position requires an accounting background either through work experience or college classes. The successful candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and must have knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, have a willingness to learn and be a team player. Experience with an accounting system a plus.
