Account Executive (sales)

HK Systems, Inc. is the leading automated material handling and supply chain software total solutions provider.  HK Systems also manufactures and installs total Automated Guided Vehicle System Solutions designed to provide robotic transport of goods throughout a variety of manufacturing and specialty environments.  Our AGV products supply Automated Guided Vehicle System Solutions to the world’s best companies.  Since 1988, we have consistently maintained our reputation for providing dependable AGV system solutions built to last, while offering leading-edge AGV technology at fair market prices.  The AGV facilities are located in Charlotte, NC and Salt Lake City, UT.  This position will be based out of the Charlotte facility.

The ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – AGV STAND ALONE SYSTEMS - will leverage our extensive existing customer base and prospect for new accounts.  Do you have a pro-active approach to creating and building customer relationships which are imperative in this role?  This position requires the following:

· Specific AGV Stand Alone system knowledge to include competitors and business segments.

· In-depth knowledge of HK AGV designs desirable.

· Thorough knowledge of AGV application development.

· Ability to understand and implement a team-based selling strategy and to manage a team.

· Ability to follow a defined sales process.

· Must be able to prepare technical and commercial proposals.

· Create and present presentations to groups. 

· Must have experience in defining and executing various market development initiatives to generate sales leads and be willing to travel.  Ability to prospect, build close relationships and penetrate target accounts.

· Proven ability to reliably forecast and report on the status of prospects.  Obtain, evaluate and compile pricing of opportunities.

Experience/ Requirements:

· Strong verbal & written communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting are imperative, along with keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to prepare bid/no bid evaluations for management review.

· A minimum of 5 years experience in AGV Stand Alone systems is required.

· BS degree or professional engineering certification is preferred.
