ASIC/CDMA Systems Engineer

Its broadband satellite products are based on the IPoS (IP over Satellite) global standard, approved by the TIA, ETSI, and ITU standards organizations.We are growing our system engineering design capability to meet the demands of our rapidly growing mobile satellite business and have an opportunity for a CDMA Systems Design Engineer with strong experience and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities:As a member of our Engineering team, you will assume a pivotal role in creating the company's core code-division-multiple access systems for satellite access. You will participate in the design and help drive key decisions on basestation, air interface and user terminal implementations and technologies. You will be expected to come up to speed quickly to meet technical goals and challenges, become a contributor in a hard-working and collaborative team, and take pride in your work. We have high expectations and are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in a wide range of areas. QualificationsRequirements:Requirements for this position include the ability to develop system-level simulations of communications systems in high level language, familiarity with digital design techniques and tradeoffs especially in low-power design techniques, skills in architecture, design and verification and excellent theoretical knowledge of CDMA signal processing systems. Must be proficient in high-level design languages such as Matlab, SystemC and Verilog. You must be self-motivated, capable of managing your time well, and work efficiently in a collaborative team environment. .
