APL Technical Lead for MDA Joint Test Analysis Description:Description:Provide lead analytical capabilities in support of MDA expansion of it's pre-mission and post-mission system-level analysis capability. Work closely with Element analysts and CTF Joint Analysis Team (JAT) to jointly define, develop and produce system-level analysis products. Duties:Lead multi-disciplinary, multi-organizational teams in developing technical products for BMDS-level Analysis Execution Plans; and lead execution of the development of pre-mission and post-mission analytical products for both ground and flight test activities.Develop collaborative analysis capabilities to effectively utilize distributed analytical and SME support.Advise sponsors on appropriate courses of action and technical approach for resolving BMDS related T&E issues.Identify and evaluate ground and flight test mission analysis risks and advise sponsors on potential enhancement measures.Establish and maintain effective reachback between Huntsville, Colorado Springs and Laurel to ensure timely delivery of technical products to include - close liaison with the CTF system test team to develop analysis tools that meets collaborative system-level analysis needs. This includes checkout and testing of analysis tools.Provide input to the APL project manager on task planning and status reporting.Qualifications:Required:BS in computer science or engineering. 5 years experience developing mission and data analysis tools for use in evaluation of missiles, missile flight and missile defense applications. Experience in test and analysis of missile defense system capabilities. Working knowledge of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) element and component data. Demonstrated ability to participate in multi-disciplinary, multi-organizational teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Desired:MS in an engineering or physics discipline. 10-15 years experience in BMD test and evaluation.
