7177 - Product Line Manager for JDSU
In the role of Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for defining industry leading Test and Measurement solutions for the Network and Enterprise applications. Working as the primary contact between Engineering, Operations and Sales, you will be responsible for developing the company's product roadmaps. You will be responsible for developing marketing plans and will be require the ability to develop consensus and collaboration across diverse company functional disciplines. This position requires: - a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Marketing preferred), MBA preferred and - knowledge of or experience in the enterprise test and measurement industry, including technologies, market trends, and customer needs, and testing applications and techniques. - Knowledge in network technologies, Ethernet, IP, xDSL, IPTV, VoIP, and Home Networking is desired. - We require 1-2 years of progressively increasing responsibility in marketing functions for highly complex products and solutions in the communications market. - Experience with distribution oriented product development is highly desired. To be successful, you should also have good presentation and listening skills, the ability to relate well with diverse groups and audiences, excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding group management skills, with the ability to work in a matrixed functional environment including multiple business units and sales channels. You will also need strong analytical and problem solving skills, solid financial skills and the ability to influence forecast accuracy.
