Well Control Instructor

Wild Well Control, Inc. , a Superior Energy Services Company, has delivered firefighting, well control and related engineering to the world’s oil and gas industry since 1975. We are now seeking Well Control Instructors to join our team. In this role, you will provide instructional IADC/APR course developed by Wild Well Control on a commercial basis as directed by our Corporate office. This position will require heavy travel, so we are looking for candidates who would consider themselves road warriors.

Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct instructional training courses, by utilizing outlines, time frame, and presentation materials provided by Well Control Training to the standards approved by IADC/APIComplete required enrollment forms and certificates during each courseMake sales calls to clientsAssist Well Control Training department in Houston develop well control problems for the simulators that are common to the studentsDaily interface with our corporate office

Qualified Candidates will possess:3 to 5 years of oil and gas field experienceCollege degree in engineering or a related fieldExperience as an instructor or facilitator of well control, HSE, or drilling work overProficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, and Power PointAbility to pay attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with a wide range of situations and personalitiesAbility to work under pressureA team spirit and cooperative natureSelf starter capable of working and prioritizing projects with little supervisionMature, dependable, confident, organized and adaptable to change
