Welder - Experienced - Clean Tech

The TigWelder would produce high quality welds on Stainless steel and Inconel tubefrom .035� wall up to .125�. Experience welding Inconel strongly preferred, butnot required. Fabrication skills are a plus, preferably with experience weldingsmall parts and thin materials. This candidate must be a reliable and punctualindividual.

 

Responsibilities Include:

§Assistsin system component layout

§Assemblesmechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for use in stocking Kanbans for use inproduction system

§Integratesassemblies at sub-system level

§Worksclosely with engineering team to take conceptual design to physical layout

§Assistsin material disposition and adhere to material movement practices

§Workswith the system test group to troubleshoot assemblies and rework materials inorder to meet system requirements

§Performshand-over-hand sub-system quality checks

§Accuratelyfills out all production paper work

§Maintainssafe working conditions

 

Skills and Experience:

§Mustbe able to use or be trained on bench level equipment and orbital welder

§Ableto produce high quality welds on Stainless steel and Inconel tube from .035�wall up to .125�.

§Experiencewith Inconel strongly preferred

§Experiencewelding small parts and thin materials

§Ableto read engineering drawings, and some schematics

§4+years of work experience or equivalent vocational training preferred

§Electro-mechanicaltroubleshooting skills

§Mechanicalaptitude

§Maintainshigh workmanship standards and takes responsibility for the quality of work

§Self-motivatedand able to work with minimal hands on direction

§Provenability to work at cross functional levels to solve problems and recommendappropriate solutions
