  Truck Driver· Drive truck or van to transport and deliver products and materials within specified area  · Verify load against shipping papers.  Obtain signed receipts for delivered material.· Maintain truck manifest according to state and federal regulations.· Inspect truck equipment and supplies routinely to ensure safe operation.· May perform Material Handler responsibilities when not engaged in primary position responsibilities.· Perform other duties as assigned.SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Education:  High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Experience: Must be 21 years of age.  Experience in material handling and driving a company vehicle preferred.Knowledge:    Knowledge of DOT regulations.  Knowledge of safe and proper loading procedures.  Moderate mechanical aptitude.  Knowledge of local area for route planning.  Good customer relations.  Must have acceptable driving history.  Must be able to walk, drive, and move freely.  Able to regularly lift 70 pounds.NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:  8:00 a.m. ‑ 5:00 p.m.  Monday through Friday Some overtime required(Note: the normal work schedule may vary depending on location)BENEFITS:Graybar offers a benefits package, which includes medical/dental, life insurance, pension plan, tuition reimbursement, profit sharing and the opportunity for you to become an employee-owner.
