TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER

Brockton, MA

 

Representing our company as Master Plumber and Master Gasfitter, you will act as an HVAC and plumbing expert and technical resource to the Retail Services organization, including Call Center and service delivery representatives and field technicians. Primary goals: ensure code compliance, increase customer satisfaction, implement cost efficiencies and build positive contractor and field rep relationships. Key functions include interacting with contractors, vendors and customers, answering questions and resolving issues; providing technical training the for intake call center reps and arranging for training provided by distributors as needed; managing furnace/boiler purchase orders and rebate processes, while coordinating installations and problem-solving with water heater, boiler, furnace and A/C equipment vendors.

 

This position requires a confident, articulate professional who can competently represent Bay State Gas at Code Review Meetings and other events, and interact with local plumbing and gas inspectors as necessary.

 

Other qualifications include:

–  Valid MA Master Plumber License

–  Valid MA Gas Fitters License

–  Demonstrated expertise in heating, cooling, water heating and AC systems

–  Minimum of a high school diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree preferred)

–  Business acumen and a commitment to superior customer service

–  Computer literacy with MS-Word, Excel and customer information
