ABOUT THE POSITION: GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide administrative support to the Tax Department. Responsible for assisting with the preparation of Sales, Use and Property Tax returns.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist with the preparation of sales, use and property tax returns Responsible for completing Business Licenses, Gross Receipts Returns and Contractors Licenses. Prepares Census Bureau Report. Coordinating with Branch Managers to ensure information is reported accurately. Independently manage smaller City Income and Franchise Tax Returns. Prepare monthly Sales/Use tax Journal Entry Process property tax payments including maintaining payment schedule and due date list.  Maintain Tax Compliance calendar and permanent files.  Continuously works with Branch Managers ensuring that all locations have a valid business license and contractors licenses when needed.  Special Projects as needed. Performs other duties as assigned Accounting/Tax Knowledge preferred. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING Basic understanding of Team Industrial Services service lines. High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be familiar with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel and prefer experience with JDE. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, and work instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
