Includes working with various manufacturers, vendors and technical / engineering representatives to resolve system problems. Ensure technical adequacy of all corrective actions to resolutions of system / componenet problems. Responsible for training, qualification, and development of engineering staff. Manage the completion of these activities to support timely implementation as required to support plant operations. Assigning tasks and manage personnel to ensure due dates and completions standards are met. Ensure activities are completed in accordance with standardized fleet practices, policies, and procedures. Ensure satisfactory performance and qualification of assigned personnel; develop assigned personnel for increased responsibility and more demanding roles. Interface with other groups to resolve issues. Is responsible for unit budget.QualificationsCandidates must have an Engineering degree or equivalent Technical Power Plant work experience. Background in Nuclear Plant systems or Licensed Reactor Operator/Certification with Supervisory skills is desired.
