Substation Design Engineer
Our client’s T&D Division specializes in engineering and managing projects for substation, transmission lines, distribution systems, HVDC systems, underground and submarine cables and industrial supplies for a wide range of clients around the world. They currently have vacancies for Substation Design Engineers for transmission and distribution system from up to 345kV in Houston, TX and Westwood, MA (25 miles southwest of Boston) These are direct opportunities with great benefits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Detailed substation design, physical layout, plant verification ensuring the facilities are designed in accordance with the customer specification and applicable standards. Provide the optimum design utilizing the latest industry design practices. The successful candidate will have the following education/experience: BSEE is required. At least five (5) years substation design engineering experience. Current or recent substation design engineering at a utility or municipality is a big plus.
