Structural Transmission Line Engineers

Position Description:

This position requires working in a project team environment with other engineers involved in the design of Transmission and Distribution systems. Responsibilities will include:• Design of overhead and underground transmission lines • Development of cost estimates and schedules• Preparation of specifications for the procurement of transmission line materials and structures• Performing calculations and preparing drawings related to site preparation, site grading and foundations

Qualifications:

Requires BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a minimum 5 years experience in transmission line design. Requires knowledge of NESC code, writing specifications, cost estimating and project scheduling for transmission line projects. Experience with utilizing PLS-CADD & SAG10 software a plus.
