Job requirements are:Load / unload string trays; Carefully handle, move and repack strings through the inspection process without damage; Inspect strings visually and with basic inspection equipment per documented acceptance criteria; Accurately complete inspection records and material labeling;Label / route trays to packaging station for bagging and inventory; Conduct string inspections / measurements. Keep work area / room organized and clear of accumulated dust and debris; Follow all safety guidelines; Must be flexible with daily schedule and available weekends. Volt is a Fortune 1000 company. Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: High School or GED; Excellent near vision; Ability to use scale, caliper, magnifier, and optical reticule; Strong basic math skills including a firm understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, calculation of areas and unit conversion from standard to metric; Strong cognitive math skills including the ability to mentally calculate the sum of many two digit numbers; Ability to read and accurately interpret inspection instructions and drawings.Ability to document work results accurately and reliably; Ability to stand and remain alert for long periods of time; Ability to occasionally reach, bend, take steps up and down; Ability to train and correct less experienced operators; Ability to work independently and within groups; Good organizational skills to include logging of changes, keeping work space/equipment neat/clean; Ability to detail effective communications skills.Location: Tucson, AZ Type: CONTRACT Duration: 90 - 120 Days Pay Rate: 13.00 - 15.00 Hourly DOE Contact: Volt Services GroupVolt Workforce Solutions5255 E.
