Strategic Sourcing Manager, E&P Services

Duties:

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing major Corporate spend categories, its suppliers, internal customers, and sourcing strategy. Develop and implement a sourcing strategy for assigned Corporate spend categories, initiate and drive communication and project plans to ensure effective delivery of savings and other deliverables against the sourcing strategy. Responsibilities also include negotiation, contracting and ongoing supplier value management for continuous improvement. On an ongoing basis, the Strategic Sourcing Manager monitors, analyzes and synthesizes changes to the internal business needs and external supply market drivers that can impact future business performance for the assigned spend categories, and modifies the sourcing strategy accordingly.

 

Requirements: A minimum of 15 years upstream oil and gas procurement experience required, with extensive experience in strategic sourcing, contracts, commercial evaluations, and negotiations. Strategic Sourcing Manager must demonstrate competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of upstream oil and gas supply chain A strategic sourcing process, with a history of process utilization Supplier value management and continuous improvement Cost management practices, with history of delivery against targets Negotiation and contract creation Quantitative and financial analysis Management of cross functional teams Forecasting of forward price indicators Bachelor's degree is required with preferred fields including Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or Economics.
