The Senior Systems Analyst, Commercial Applications develops, implements and maintains computer-based applications that insure accurate, cost-effective responses to requested changes, meet regulatory requirements, and server corporate interests. Also, designs detailed specifications from user requirements, codes computer applications from detailed specifications, implements computer applications into production environment, maintains application's source code, develops technical system and end user documentation and interfaces application with network environment and tools. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Acts as part of a development team to develop software including technical design and documentation of process/application/interface. * Operates as part of a development team to develop and document deployment packages for process/application/interface software. * Performs as part of a team in managing and maintaining an operationally stable environment that aligns with the corporate short and long term goals. * Creates code following application design specifications. * Develops and executes unit-test plans for developed code. * Adheres to the Equitable Delivery Process as a project management methodology. * Abides by department standard operating procedures and corporate development standards. * Works with Business Analyst to maintain product documentation for releases, upgrades, and enhancements. *Collaborates with Business Analyst to create/maintain training documentation for classroom training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field. * At least three years software development experience. * Proficient knowledge of C#, VB.Net, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, SQL. * Ability to develop systems using MS SQL Server and/or Oracle as a RDBMS. * Ability to use development tools such as VSTS, VSS, Mercury Quality Center, and Microsoft Project. * Ability to develop reports using Crystal Reports and/or Cognos Reports. * Ability to use Microsoft Office Tool set including Visio, PowerPoint, and Project. * Ability to manage multiple tasks. * Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a project and show leadership. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment. * Ability to work with little definition and without supervision while multi-tasking across a number of projects and initiatives. * Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. * Other related certifications preferred. * Gas industry systems experience preferred.
