Sr. SCADA Technician

         

 

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) is seeking a candidate who will work out of the Chelsea Massachusetts Water/Wastewater facility and participate in the development, installation and maintenance of the MWRA's wide area Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair and services of the microwave towers, antennas, transmission lines and dehydrator units as well as the HMI screens and PLC’s. They will also assist with the maintenance of the SCADA network and PC’s to insure we are in compliance with the SCADA standards. Working knowledge of HMI application software and AutoCAD and other equivalent CAD design programs. QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience:•Requires an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering, Bachelor degree preferred. •Three to five years experience maintaining, servicing computer controlled PLC’s and other automated process equipment. Any equivalent combination of education and experience.•Special Requirements: A valid Massachusetts Class D driver’s license•FCC Radiotelephone Operator License required within six months•ISA Certified Control System Technician (CSST) certified preferred and the ability to pass confined space entry training within six months.For more information regarding this job posting please visit our website at www.mwra.com and refer to job posting #6037.
