We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical/Design Engineer to work within our Manufacturing Engineering department, based out of Rock Hill, SC, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will assume engineering responsibility for major manufacturing activity for equipment and processes for use in commercial nuclear power plants. Design and execute capital project plans for cost effective manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will have knowledge of manual and CNC machining of small and components for specialized tooling. In addition, the ability to design new and improved tooling and machining equipment is required.The successful candidate will have:- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline;- Minimum of 5 years experience in machining, welding, assembly and testing;- Effective project management and communication skills.- Familiarity with certain ASME Code and industry requirements related to nuclear power plant equipment, systems, and operations is highly desirable.
