Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, is the second largest nuclear generation company in the United States. Entergy is planning to spin off its non-utility wholesale nuclear business into a new independent publicly traded company, Enexus. In connection with that transaction, Enexus and Entergy intend to enter into a nuclear services joint venture, EquaGen. At this time, we are seeking applicants for prospective employment with EquaGen and Enexus.

Staffing decisions will be made in a manner anticipated to result in the future success of Enexus, while maintaining continued success of the Entergy System.

Job offers for Enexus positions will be contingent on several factors, including the formation of Equagen and the consummation of the spin transaction, which is anticipated to occur in the latter part of 2008.

External candidates who accept offers will become employed by the Entergy System pending the spin transaction and internal candidates will remain with their Entergy System employer pending the spin transaction.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available at Enexus for a Sr. Executive Assistant to the CFO located in Jackson, MS.

Position Description:Provide secretarial and administrative support to the department Chief Financial Officer. Provide support to other managerial employees in the department.  Manage CFO's calendar, schedule travel arrangements, and schedule departmental meetings &
functions, conference calls, etc. Manage correspondence and route documents to appropriate executives/directors/managers and
prepare documents, spreadsheets, and inter-office correspondence for CFO's signature. Manage the administrative affairs of the department, including invoice processing, expense reports (EARL) and departmental expenses, supply/equipment procurement, including review of expenses to consider cost saving opportunities. Assist in preparing presentation for meetings with senior executive management utilizing state of the art software. Organize staff meetings including verifying presentation hardware is acceptable and providing
logistical support Communicate organizational and administrative information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in
writing Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Position Requirements:Minimum of 7 years of experience in administration or office management Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong organizational and decision-makingProficiency in Word Processing and PowerPoint with a working knowledge of Excel. Proficient in
Entergy software such as ESTER, EARL, and electronic PP&R Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with teams with a positive attitude.Ability to handle multiple assignments and work within deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality of organizational issues Must be able to recognize and be sensitive to labor relations issues, external political influences and  customer requests/complaints. Significant teamwork skills, organizational skills, decision-making skills, and the ability to organize and coordinate the efforts of other departmental team members Communication and customer service skills to handle interface with industry representatives,
regulatory bodies and other community leaders, their staffs and internal customers


Desired Qualifications:

· Associate Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
