The Senior Compression Engineer manages the engineering, design, administration, construction and maintenance of gas compressor automation projects and electric compressor station installations to ensure maximum system integrity, efficiency and delivery.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Works with operations personnel to troubleshoot performance problems.* Reviews compression station construction designs and layout drawings.* Oversees PLC software development and implementation.
REQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field (electrical engineering preferred).* At least eight years of related experience with an emphasis on PLC programming and implementation.* Strong working knowledge of compressor design and operations with some SCADA and modeling experience.* Familiarity with regulatory requirements.* Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and data analysis skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.* Ability to travel up to 50%.
