Basic Job Functions: The focus of this position will be to develop software, configure high-level software packages, integrate solutions, and provide support for First Solar’s project business applications.  Experience:  · 2-10 years experience in project or construction or business environment at a medium to large scale company· Experience in configuring and enhancing Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) systems, Sage Timberline Office or Microsoft Dynamics/Axapta a plus· Experience in integrating software· Development experience using .Net.  · Experience with reporting tools for ERP and project/construction systems.  Crystal reports a plus.· Proven experience with software workflow, change request process, and version control packages.· Ability to effectively use and configure SQL databases· Knowledge of SQL reporting services Education:· 4 year degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.  Equivalent experience that is demonstrated will be considered. Required Skills:· Proven ability and knowledge of computer technology· Excellent communication and organization skills· Ability to work with ERP consultants effectively· Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and financial systems· Ability to learn other software and systems quickly· Ability to define/document and implement business system policies and procedures· General knowledge of business operations including GL Accounting, A/P, A/R, Shipping & Receiving, Inventory, and Production· Proven interpersonal skills· Experience with multi-tiered architecture using VisualBasic, HTML, XML, X++, SQL Essential Functions & Responsibilities· Responsible for expert-level support on global applications for business and database systems· Meet development needs (configuring, reporting and integrating) for ERP and other systems· Assist analysts and administrators (server admins, network admins, DBAs)  in trouble shooting enterprise-level problems· Extend solutions to portal sites (MS SharePoint) internally and externally· Maintain version control systems and be a part of SOX implementation· Document recurring issues and present possible solutions· Interface with other departments and supplier representatives· Exercises effective communications levels and fosters team building· Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards· Undertake projects as needed for new software systems and perform other assignments as required See Job Description.
