Position Description:
Ready to take the lead in your career? Providing direction and leadership to a team of system engineers at our Karn/Weadock Complex in Essexville, you will ensure the proactive, effective and efficient operations of the equipment reliability program at the site’s three electric generating plants. This will include: Analyzing and assessing system operations and equipment Developing and implementing a proactive maintenance strategy Training your team in the effective use of root cause analyses and economic models Leading project planning, budgeting and resource scheduling functions for the site Teaming with the portfolio group to ensure work priorities align with strategy and budget Position Requirements:
Keys to success in this role include: Bachelor’s degree in engineering 10+ years of power plant engineering experience or equivalent Supervisory background High level of technical expertise with plant systems, operations analysis/assessment and the use of vibration analysis, thermography, metallurgy and boiler tube failure data analysis Demonstrated understanding of using root cause analysis and economic models to quantify risks and determine investments Proven strategic planning, project management and budgeting skills Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving and analytical abilities Registered professional engineer preferred Company Overview:
