Service Technician - Full time
Ferrellgas is the second largest propane company in the United States and third largest propane company in the world. We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Service Technician at our Iowa, IA location. Service Technician Job Summary: Under direction of Service Center General Manager this position is responsible for delivery of propane and installation of appliances in an efficient, punctual and safe manner. Responsible for checking and maintaining the integrity of associated appliances. Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance. During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires. Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures. Driving company vehicle for repairs on appliances. Requirements · High School diploma or equivalent · 2 – 5 years related experience· Experience in propane related service work preferred· Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements preferred· Speak, read, and legible write fluent EnglishPreferred Skills:· Experience in propane/ service tech is preferredWe offer great pay with annual reviews for increases, bonus opportunities and excellent benefits package.
