Senior Structural Engineer (08321)

WorleyParsons is one of the world’s largest engineering and project delivery firms, servicing the global resource, energy and infrastructure markets.  WorleyParsons provides engineering, procurement, construction management, program management and consultancy services to clients in the Hydrocarbons, Power, Minerals and Metals and Infrastructure sectors.  We are one of a handful of global companies with the capability and track record to execute large capital projects from conception right through to operation.  We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   For retrofit and new power plant type plants, and work with drafter / designers and supervising engineers. Prepare and adhere to assigned budgets and schedules, integrate team efforts, execute work share with multiple offices and subcontractors, review all work, set priorities, identify and resolve issues promptly, and communicate status to other lead engineers.  Read / review drawings, collect information, enter data in spreadsheets and databases, and assist engineers in the preparation of calculations and performance of duties.  Job Requirements: 10 years experience, computer proficient: MathCad, Excel, StaadPro experience.   Prior experience with equipment vendors for design and field assessment a plus.  Some travel and site work anticipated.
