Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Ambit Energy is a fast growing electric and gas energy company currently serving residential customers in Texas, New York, and Illinois.  Ambit stresses an open office environment where communication moves quickly and team work is a must.

Ambit is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT team.   The following requirements apply:

  Software application testing experience, including manual as well as automated testing of web-based applications Experience in Release Management Experience managing source code versioning is preferred (VSS, etc.) Strong written communication skills Strong verbal communication skills Attention to detail Team player – ability to work well within a team Must work effectively in a dynamic environment

 

Primary responsibilities include the following:

  Design, develop, implement and maintain test processes Support all levels of testing Regression, Integration and UAT Write and execute test cases Define and record automated test scripts Analyze the actual results against expected results Maintain records of test progress Prepare reports and present results to management team as appropriate Support Source Control practices Manage the deployment of software changes to QA, UAT and Production environments
