Senior Project Engineer - AP1000 US Projects

We are currently seeking a Senior AP1000 Project Engineer, focusing on US Projects in our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit. Our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit, based out of our corporate headquarters in Monroeville, PA, specializes in product development, systems engineering, component design, equipment manufacturing, and project management for new nuclear power plants worldwide. It is within this Business Unit that developed the AP1000 design, the safest and most economical nuclear power plant available in the worldwide commercial market place.In this position, the Sr Project Engineer will:- Implement/develop and monitor procedures and processes to provide headquarters management of large scale NSSS projects in accordance with applicable contracts and agreements.- Ensure that proper documentation is generated, approved and issued.- Develop working relationships and interface with team members across multi-organizational boundaries to communicate and coordinate activities.-Ensure on time delivery of project deliverables such as engineering design packages and equipment.A successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:- A bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.-A working knowledge of PWR systems.-Knowledge of engineering design and supply chain processes.-Experience in developing and/or implementing project management processes for large scale projects. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across multiple disciplines. - PMI certification is desired.
