The Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) is the world’s largest crude oil producing and exporting company and ranks within the top tier of natural gas producers.  With crude oil reserves of 260 billion barrels, or about one-quarter of the world’s total, the company manages a worldwide petroleum enterprise with operations in exploration, production, refining and distribution.  Excellent compensation and benefits await you! POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provides highly skilled expertise and work direction in maintaining, troubleshooting and repair of all protective relaying and control systems for substations, switching stations, power plants, uninterruptible power supplies and large motor and generator controls of Aramco's Power Distribution Department's Central, Southern and Northern Areas.SELECTION CRITERIA: Masters optimum usage of computerized relay test equipment to perform automatic testing, upload and download of test files and perform substation automation projects and upgrade tasks. Must also master substation DFR & SOE hardware and software to obtain system information data, set equipment parameters and troubleshooting errors together with micro-processor type protective relay testing, programming and configuration. Good knowledge and experience of Digital and Analog KWH Meter Calibrations and application of computer programs.The required candidate must be fully conversant with High Voltage Electrical Protection System and its components. Must be highly skilled in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting Electromechanical, Solid State-Microprocessor relays and their associated components.  At least 10 years experience in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting Feeder protection, Transformer protection, Motor protection, Bus protection and Line/Distance protection relays is required. He must have complete command of using / maintaining single and three phase digital test instruments. Should be a team player, fluent in English language and must be able to train young / new employees. Completion of ITC: English ERW; Math MI; and vocational training in control circuitry, power relays, and/or power utilities. CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required. Certified to perform switching operations. Experience required: 11 years experience in electrical control circuitry, relaying, and electric utilities.
