Job description:

This hands-on Senior Manager, Human Resources (HR) is responsible for the leadership and administration of all HR practices. The Senior Manager, HR works in concert with the executive leadership team to develop, implement and maintain various initiatives that reinforce our company culture, enhance employee performance and retention, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and cultivate an atmosphere that will drive change to meet corporate objectives. 

 

Responsibilities include:Build, reinforce and maintain policies and procedures that support both nuts-and-bolts HR responsibilities and corporate strategic initiatives Work closely with the COO to deliver the organizational structure changes necessary to support our rapidly growing business and overall corporate objectives Provide guidance to functional managers on all employee relations, compensation, succession planning, company policy, retention and development matters Design and implement all HR programs including compensation, benefits, employee relations, regulatory compliance, on-boarding, performance management, training and development Conduct compensation analysis; make recommendations that ensure wages remain competitive   Manage direct reports and ensure their delivery of best in class HR services Analyze data and make recommendations to the leadership team that support strategic goals Seamlessly transition between hands-on, role up your sleeves activities and strategic functions Handle complex employee relations issues Maintain the drug free workplace policy Prepare and manage departmental budget and expenses Current on all State and Federal employment laws; update polices and practices as needed Provide HR guidance regarding the application of employment laws in new markets Partner with recruiting on talent acquisition efforts Prepare, review and send out internal corporate communications regarding policies and business updates

 

Qualifications:At least 10 years of progressively responsible human resources experience; with at least 5 years leading a team Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred SPHR certification desired

 

 

Desired Skills:Demonstrated success leading change management initiatives and developing and implementing policies and procedures Expertise resolving complex employee relations issues, instituting learning and development programs and designing retention policies and incentives Demonstrated success in thinking ahead and seeing around corners and proactively identifying opportunities that strengthen HR practices Strong influencing, mentoring and coaching skills Experience making sound business decisions Superior communications skills (written and verbal); able to communicate effectively across all levels and functions Experience supporting call center operations and working cross functionally on merger and acquisition activity is highly desired Experience working in a multi-culture organization is a plus
