DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES The Gas Scheduler will be accountable for the following functions: • Establish and document procedures relating to interstate pipeline companies. • Account for gas volumes transported by the interstate pipelines. • Track nominations, confirmations, and balance natural gas flow volumes with producers, shippers, and pipelines from multiple producing regions. • Resolve issues while effectively working with the measurement, marketing, revenue accounting, land and operations departments. • Work closely with mid office personnel to provide accurate reporting and utilization of the transactional system. QUALIFICATIONS • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions. • Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent. • Good presentation, communication and technical writing skills. • Working knowledge of gas contracts and transportation. • Ability to work well with others. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3 years experience in the oil and gas industry with experience in one of the areas below preferred, but not required: • Pipeline nominations and balancing • Production forecasting and WIO entitlements. • Gas Transportation and Exchange • Gas settlement and accountingFull time/direct hire.
