The Senior Financial Analyst's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: *1. Deliver accurate and timely consolidated reporting to parent company which includes financial statements, key performance indicators, forecast, budget, and variance analysis. *2. Prepare timely and accurate internal performance reporting and analysis for management. *3. Act as liaison for parent company regarding financial results, information requests/dissemination and problem solving. *4. Assist in the preparation of schedules to support annual Financial Plan, quarterly forecasts and periodic updates and in the development of presentations to communicate outputs. *5. Develop Monthly WEC Balanced Scorecard through coordination with strategy and the business units. *6. Coordinate and support the Monthly Project Reviews for the WEC staff. *7. Support the J-sox project by developing documentation of processes, performing walkthroughs, and providing financial reporting information. *8. Work with Shared Service Center and CSC in maintaining the chart of accounts and resolving systems issues which impact reporting. *9. Prepare schedules to support the development of quarterly financial statements.*10. Coordinate, prepare, and/or review outside auditor schedules to support annual audit and special audit requirements. *11.Prepare or review research on technical accounting or financial issues.A successful candidate will possess the following:Knowledge of key financial statements interpretation/analysisKnowledge of external and internal reporting and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. MBA and/or CPA is desirable and will be heavily weighted. 5 - 8 years of related work experience, with at least 2 years experience in financial planning and reporting/analysis or auditing.
