ARAMARK Technical Services provides a variety of architectural and engineering consulting services including energy management, capital project management and building commissioning primarily for educational institutions.  The results have been impressive: $7 Billion in projects commissioned, $3 Billion in capital projects managed and over $400 million in energy savings.  Technical Services delivers these services through years of technical expertise and professional experienced engineers, project managers, and technical professionals.  This talented team uniquely positions ARAMARK to assist customers in assuring that their assets are optimized and their cost appropriately managed. This position reports to the Director of Technical Services.  The Senior Energy Manager will be responsible for managing one of New York State’s largest Comprehensive Energy Efficiency Programs for various New York State Hospitals located within the New York City and Hudson River Valley regions.  The position resides in our Albany office, with 50% travel expected to the Hudson Valley and New York City area.  The Senior Energy Manager facilitates the identification, development and implementation of energy management projects and protocols.  These critical initiatives help the program exceed the overall energy reduction goal and objectives, which have been established under the State’s Executive Order 111.  The Senior Energy Manager develops and maintains effective customer rapport, provides guidance and training to help others (internal to ARAMARK and external to the client) efficiently operate the facility power plants, chiller plants, and HVAC Systems. Opportunity This position offers accelerated professional growth opportunities for an experienced professional who can manage multiple technical projects for our client, manage people and client relationships, and ensure quality of service delivery. Position Responsibilities -  Direct Responsibility for developing & managing energy, operations and maintenance initiatives-  Schedule internal technical resources to ensure project implementation is prioritized-  Ensure quality of service delivery & maintain client satisfaction-  Communicate Daily with Director, Technical Resources-  Apply Technical Service Standards-  Effectively address internal staff issues -  Education: BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering-  Experience: minimum of 10 years related experience -  PE License or CEM Certification is a plus-  Experience developing and implementing energy management programs-  Working knowledge of building mechanical systems, i.e. boilers, chillers, HVAC/R and knowledge of computerized maintenance systems -  Possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (oral & written)-  The ability to manage and train other energy engineers in a diverse environment with focus on client service is essential for success in this role.  -  Strong analytical & technical skills-  Strong organizational and computer skills
