Senior Business Analyst

 

Coordinate and communicate IS projects with other Departments. Document project requests. Assist with project management and administration. Assist in developing high level and detailed design specifications, workflow diagrams and documentation. Assist developers with analysis, development and modification of applications. Assist with creation of test plans and coordinate user testing. Assist with training. Provide technical support for in-house and third-party Exploration & Production (E&P) business applications. Perform application administration.

 

Five years E&P industry experience. Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Must be able to communicate complex data in an accurate, concise and logical manner. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with peers, team members and management. Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision. Good analytical skills. Knowledge of PL/SQL, FTP, Oracle, Windows, MS Office, MS Project, MS Access, Crystal Reports desired. Travel and carry company phone required. Bachelor’s degree required. MIS or Computer Science degree preferred. Knowledge of oil and gas accounting, financial, or production systems a plus.
