Senior Accounting Manager

Basic Job Functions: We are looking for a senior accounting manager at our corporate headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. As a senior accounting manager, you will manage and develop accounting personnel responsible for corporate accounting and the corporate consolidation process. In addition, you will be responsible for process improvements and SOX compliance for the corporate accounting and worldwide consolidation processes. You will report directly to the corporate assistant controller.  Core Responsibilities: Develop and lead a high performance corporate accounting team Manage month end, quarter end and annual worldwide close process and consolidation Ensure timely delivery of monthly and quarterly corporate and subsidiary reporting packages Manage corporate books monthly activities Drive  corporate level business strategy development and deployment Work with and support the FP&A teams on management reporting deliverables  Actively work with FSS team on process and control automations.  Ensure compliance with Corporate Finance policies and proper execution of controls laid out in the SOX documents at the corporate level Responsible for continuing assessment of the control environment and updating the design and execution of controls to cope with our rapid growth at the corporate level Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit with the external auditors Assist with the 10-Q and 10-K preparation processes Take charge of corporate accounting integration process, and related controls, resulting from acquisitions.  Required Skills/Experience: · Combination of 6-8 years of relevant work experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and multi-national manufacturing environment. · Proven track record of building and developing a highly efficient team· Excellent interpersonal and management skills · Process oriented with strong organizational and communication skills· Good working knowledge of §  Worldwide Consolidation §  US GAAP§  SOX / 404 compliance§  Strategic & Operational Planning· Highly motivated, people sensitive, results oriented· Proficient on MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and etc. · Strong working knowledge on major ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, or related applications in a manufacturing environment preferred· Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics and other related fields preferred· CPA strongly preferred.See Job Description.
